What do I wear on my feet?

Please note the following guidelines for footwear in class:

  • Ballet/Ballet Basics: Ballet slippers (preferred), socks acceptable. No barefeet or sneakers.
  • Funk/Salsa Aerobics: Jazz sneakers or regular sneakers. No barefeet. Street shoes are not allowed in the studio.
  • Hand Dance/Salsa/Soul Line: Any regular hard soled shoe that stays on the feet well. Street shoes are not allowed in the studio.
  • Hip Hop/Video Dance: Jazz sneakers (preferred), regular sneakers or jazz shoes acceptable. Street shoes are not allowed in the studio.
  • Jazz:  Jazz shoes (preferred), socks or barefeet acceptable. No sneakers.
  • Liturgical: Barefeet (preferred), socks acceptable. No sneakers.
  • Modern: Barefeet (preferred), socks acceptable. No sneakers.
  • Pilates/Yoga: Barefeet only. Socks acceptable.
  • Tap: Flat heeled tap shoes. Consult studio staff or instructor for specific information on where to buy or obtain tap shoes.
